General information about the Zeeuws Veilinghuis

The Zeeuws Veilinghuis is an auctionhouse located in Middelburg, Zeeland, the south-western part of the Netherlands. Every year we organise 4 auctions of art and antiques. Every auction contains a large variety of art and antiques in general and we always have many objects which are related to our region, Zeeland.

Catalogue

About 10 days before the auction is our complete catalogue ('Catalogus') online including images of every lot.

There are two ways to browse through the catalogue:

• with descriptions, estimates and images (TEKSTWEERGAVE)
• only images and estimates (FOTOWEERGAVE, this option can give you a quick impression)

The catalogue has also a search option ('Zoeken'). Here you can search in the descriptions with keywords and if necessary specify your search with AND or OR options.

The premium or buyers commission is 25%. Purchased items can be posted if necessary.

 

Absentee bids

If instructed we will execute bids for intending purchasers. Lots will always be bought as cheaply as is allowed by other bids and reserves. Absentee bids can be placed by faxing us the bid form which you can download here. Our fax number: +31 118 650682. Please make clear on the form whether you give instruction for written bids or if you want to bid by telephone during the auction. Written bids should be given excluding the buyers premium.
